Jenn Newton


After the birth of her third child in 2010, Jenn began looking for an exercise regimen to help lose weight.  Trying every class that the YMCA had to offer, yoga seemed the most tolerable.  Very quickly she realized that the practice of yoga wasn’t just another exercise routine.  Yes, her body changed.  The most shocking change was what yoga brought to her life.  Yoga brought peace, contentment, and strength.  It was an inside fixer as well as an outside fixer.    


Jenn slowly moved her practice from the YMCA (it was an amazing place to start!) to local yoga studios.  Practicing with teachers whom she respected, admired, and learned a great deal from.  In 2017 she enrolled in a 200hr teacher training program at CorePower Yoga in Charlotte.  In 2019 she earned a Baptiste Yoga Teaching Credential and became a certified DEEP Buti yoga instructor.  In 2020 she earned her E-RYT designation as well as her YACEP designation through Yoga Alliance.  In the fall of 2020 she completed a 300hr teacher training program through My Vinyasa Practice and is attained her RYT500hr designation.  


On October 1, 2020 Jenn opened the doors of High Point Yoga School.  Her hope is that this will be a safe, excepting environment that cultivates the growth and strength of all who enter.  She wants to give back what has been given to her.


Jenn is a mom of four girls, two cats, one feisty Boston Terrier, and wife to a very loving, supportive husband.  Oh, and clearly a yoga junkie.

Hannah Jackson

RYT 200


Hannah began practicing yoga occasionally while in college, however, she did not start practicing consistently until 2018 when she moved to High Point for work and graduate school. She started yoga in search for relief from the anxiety she had been facing. She was instantly hooked and began practicing almost everyday. Hannah soon decided to earn her 200 hr power yoga teacher certification from Core Power in Charlotte, NC in 2019. Hannah is currently enrolled in a 300 hr teacher training program and will be a 500 hr registered yoga teacher. 


Hannah enjoys incorporating strength building and emphasizing core work in her classes. She also loves to incorporate her love for music into her playlists by having a variety of genres and artists in every playlist. Hannah enjoys teaching all levels and wants everyone to feel welcomed in her class.

Brooke Ashby

RYT 200

Brooke began her yoga journey in 2012, shortly after the birth of her son. Finding it difficult to attend classes or go to a gym regularly, she found her foundation in yoga, as a home practice.


Wanting to reach out of her comfort zone, she began attending community classes as a means to cross-train with her love for running. Practicing in a community setting brought such a different life and energy to the body and she found joy experiencing this with other around her. Little did she know how much yoga would transform not only her body, but her mind and spirit as well.


Her teaching style incorporates fun poses for all levels and body types to create a lighthearted playfulness in every class. Emphasizing the importance of matching breath to movement, and creating fun and energetic music playlists.


Brooke earned her RYT-200 through Greensboro Downtown Yoga’s teacher training, under the guidance of Savvy Soul’s Sandy Delgado in 2018.

Caroline Kolbet

RYT 200 & Reiki Master

Caroline Kolbet is a Yoga Instructor & Reiki Master practitioner.  She started her yoga journey with YoKid…Stretch Your Limits in Alexandria, VA.  In 2016, she received her 20-Hour Basic Kids’ Yoga Training.  “I had this desire to continue to soak everything up like a sponge. I wanted to NOT keep this information to myself but to learn & share with adults, too.”  In 2017, she achieved the 200-Hour RYT training through Yoga Mindset Yoga & Wellness School in High Point, NC.  She enjoys teaching Gentle Flow, All Levels Flow, & Chair 2 Mat classes.  "Yoga is for every Body!  If you are breathing, you can do the yoga!"  She likes to hold poses & feel the energy & breath circulating through the body.  "There's a lot of inner strength & growth when we slow things down...slow growth is good growth; working from the inside out."  She is registered with Yoga Alliance & is currently working on her 500-Hour training.


Loving what yoga did for her mind & body, Caroline also studied the Usui System of Natural Healing & received her attunement for Reiki Master in 2018.

"Keeping the spiritual lineage of Reiki alive is important to me.  It allows the living lineage to be authentic & share this powerful healing system."  In our busy world of technology & over-committing ourselves, we rarely take time for self-care.  Reiki is a Japanese method for stress reduction, while promoting relaxation. While in this relaxed environment, healing can occur of the mind, body, & spirit. It is not a substitute for medical care; rather it is another healing modality.
